Two people were injured after being struck by a passenger vehicle on North Michigan Street in front of McDonald’s just after midnight on Saturday.
Plymouth police say 21-year-old Virginia Owens and 24-year-old Akashdeep Singh of Plymouth were walking across Michigan Street headed west and were struck by a southbound vehicle driven by Franxesca Dilone, 42, of Plymouth.
Owens and Singh were transported by ambulance for non-life threatening injuries. They reportedly had a vague recollection of the accident when talking to police while Dilone told police that she had a green traffic signal, according to a news release.
