The Bourbon Town Council received a request to extend utilities to a new Dollar General store on State Road 331 south of U.S. 30.
In order to install the infrastructure required to satisfy the needs of the facility, the town would need to get underneath State Road 331. The council agreed to investigate costs and discuss the issue further at a future meeting.
In May, the town council approved a zoning change to accommodate a request to build the national chain in the 1400 block of N. Main Street. A start date on construction has not been issued.
