The Plymouth Community School Board will move forward on their plans on projects when they meet tonight. It is anticipated that the board members will adopt a preliminary bond resolution to pay for the cost of maintenance and improvements to the corporation at a cost not to exceed $2 million. Those projects include paving, site work, lighting update and work on the HVAC system. That pending approval will be followed by the possible approval of the declaration of official intent to reimburse those expenditures.
The board will also consider a contract for a nurse during the summer months, review K-12 handbooks, consider the Science adoption for grades K-4 and consider permission to apply for grants. Those grants are for Title I, Title II, Title III, special education, high ability, adult education, and non English speaking.
Students from Washington Discovery Academy and Webster Elementary School will have a presentation of information to the board.
The Plymouth Community School Board will meet at 7 p.m. in the administration board room in the administration building on the school’s campus.
