All Marshall County Marching Band Ready for Indy 500 Parade

The final practice for the All Marshall County Marching Band was held last night in preparation for the Indianapolis 500 Festival Parade this Saturday.

Students from Plymouth, Bremen, Culver Community, Triton and LaVille High Schools will be participating in the event. The band is under the direction of Bryan Ames with the help of five other directors.

The combined band has over 200 students and is one of only 13 bands to perform in this elite event. More than 300,000 spectators line the parade route and over one million people view the event on television. The parade will also feature floats, balloons, notable celebrities, and the drivers of the Indianapolis 500.

The parade festivities will begin at 11:45 a.m. on Saturday.
