Today is the day to help many nonprofit organizations with an endowment fund through the Marshall County Community Foundation.
In today’s Marshall County Match Madness event, new and existing endowment funds within the Marshall County Community Foundation are eligible for a 10 percent match with up to $50,000 matching dollars total. Donations of any size will be taken for any endowment fund.
Foundation staff members and nonprofit organization representatives will be at the Community Resource Center of Marshall County today from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. to assist with donations. The resource center is located at 510 W. Adams Street. Online donations are also eligible for the 10 percent match at www.marshallcountycf.org. The online donations will be accepted until midnight.
Executive Director Linda Yoder said 347 endowment funds are held at the foundation and the staff is ready to process donations today that will assist the community in many ways.
