Kyle Coffman was recently announced as this year’s District 2 Assistant Principal of the Year. He holds that title at the Plymouth Community High School. He was nominated by his peers in the district which includes La Porte, St. Joseph, Elkhart, Starke, Marshall, Kosciusko, Pulaski and Fulton Counties.
The distinction is awarded by the Indiana Association of School Principals.
Coffman possesses all of the qualities the nomination represents. He is involved in leadership in the capacity of the school and also in the community. He also helps provide a positive school climate which makes a difference in morale for staff and students.
Coffman will now be submitted for consideration for the state’s honor. The state winner will be announced at the IASP Fall Professional Conference and banquet in November.
