Wear Blue Day Recognized in Marshall County Tomorrow

Prevent Child Abuse Marshall County will partner with the Heminger House to recognize National Child Abuse Prevention Month in April and Wear Blue Day tomorrow.

Diane Fisher from the Prevent Child Abuse organization in Marshall County said a ceremony will take place on the Marshall County Courthouse lawn on Friday to bring awareness of child abuse to the county residents. Blue pinwheels will be placed on the courthouse lawn and will be present throughout the month. A pastor will deliver a short speech while Plymouth Mayor Mark Senter will read a proclamation declaring April 7 as National Wear Blue Day.

The ceremony will also recognize Sexual Assault Awareness Month.

The ceremony will begin tomorrow at 10 a.m. ET.
