A pair was arrested Saturday morning after officers were able to retrieve a stolen vehicle.
An officer from the Plymouth Police Department was notified that a truck was reported stolen. The caller had followed the truck on U.S. 30 traveling west and then south on Pioneer Drive in Plymouth.
Other police units were advised of the situation and the truck was stopped on Pioneer Drive at the railroad tracks. After an investigation, the two people inside the vehicle were taken into custody.
The driver, Kathryn S. Smith, 20, of North Judson, was arrested on a preliminary charge of auto theft while the passenger, 20-year-old Kenny McIntire, Jr., of Plymouth, was arrested on a preliminary charge of possession of paraphernalia. Both were booked into the Marshall County Jail.
