Plymouth Street Superintendent Jim Marquardt presented to the city council the proposed list of sidewalks the street crew will be working on this season.
Marquardt told the city council that the list will wrap up a major road in town
“In the past three years, we’ve been trying to get some things on South Michigan Street done,” explained Marquardt. “A lot of those sidewalks were recommended. We’re trying to fill in some gaps there. We’re going to try and get Michigan Street done and then the list goes through some of the other requests we have.”
Total material costs are estimated at $35,619.77 and labor costs are estimated at $59,780.
The city council members approved the recommended list.
Here is the list of sidewalks to be complete this year as provided by Plymouth officials:
North Center Street and West Monroe Streets involving 612, 625, 700,701, 705, and 709 North Center.
Indiana Street and East Jefferson Street involving 502, 508, 520, and 550 East Jefferson Street.
North Water Street and East Garro Street involving 201 East Garro, 208 West Water and the city parking lot area.
S. Michigan St. and Green St. including 810, 900, 906, 914, 920, and 928 S. Michigan.
Thayer St. and Green St. involving 808,814, 815, 900, 902, and 914 Thayer.
S. Michigan St. and Ewing St. involves 819, 825, 905, 909, 925 and 933 Michigan.
S. Michigan St. and Charles St. involving 601, 607, 613, 701, 719, and 727 S. Michigan Street.
