The Plymouth Board of Public Works and Safety members will award a bid for the Oakhill/Soice at Michigan Street intersection signalization improvements when they meet tonight. The board also expects to open quotes for the Ledyard Plant roof replacement project.
City Attorney Sean Surrisi will present a resolution designating a handgun as surplus property of the Plymouth Police Department and authorize its transfer to a retiring police officer.
The board will also hear updates on several projects in the city from various department heads.

The Plymouth City Council will also meet tonight with a full agenda.
The council is expected to approve an ordinance that amends the salary ordinance for appointed officers and employees of the fire department and EMS personnel in the city. Two other ordinances are up for second and third readings. They include the determination of sanitary sewer volume and the amendment to the drug and alcohol policy and testing.
The council will review an application for a commercial revitalization rebate from Wythougan Valley Preservation Council, Inc. Two members will be approved for the Plymouth Economic Development Commission.
Proposals for consulting services for a job and compensation study are anticipated for review.
The Plymouth City Council will meet at 6:30 p.m. or immediately following the Plymouth Board of Public Works and Safety meeting.
