Students participating in Culver Community High School’s Business Professionals of America (BPA) organization are headed to a national event in May.
The recent state BPA conference in Indianapolis featured 2,000 students and five Culver students qualified for the National Leadership Conference in Orlando, Florida.
They qualified in System Administration using Cisco, Computer Network Technology, Networking Administration using Microsoft, Microsoft Network Administration, and Torch Awards.
According to advisor Chuck Karamon, the students have plenty of opportunities to raise funds for airfare, hotel, conference fees, and food. About $12,000 needs to be raised for the students to participate in the conference.
The Culver BPA organization has a gofundme account set up for donations. A link to help with donations can be accessed here. Visit this story on our website for the link to help send the students to this experience of a lifetime. More fundraisers are planned, but specific details are not readily available.
The students will be leaving for the conference on May 9.
