The Argos Community School Board reviewed a strategic plan for building projects this summer.
Interim Superintendent Dr. Robert Boyd said the board is looking to do some updating to the facilities.
“We have some issues with our boiler system and some issues with the condition of the parking lot,” explained Dr. Boyd. “We also have some internal things in the way of carpeting and painting. We’re trying to get a plan together to respond to that this summer.”
Dr. Boyd noted that a project cost total has not been figured at this time as quotes are being assembled. Funding will come from the Capital Projects Fund in the school’s budget.
Some general maintenance is also planned at the Ag building.
The Argos Community School Board will review more of the plans during their next meeting.
