To celebrate a new location and new programs, the staff at the Marshall County Health Department and St. Joseph Regional Health System will host an open house today to introduce the public to the surroundings.
County Health Administrator Christine Stinson told MAX 98.3 FM News that the public is welcome to tour the building, meet all of the staff and become familiar with existing programs within the health department in addition to new offerings. The festivities will be featured between 3 p.m. and 6 p.m. today.
The county health department is now located within the Marshall County Resource Center at 510 W. Adams Street in Plymouth.
Some of the services available at the Marshall County Health Department include: immunizations, health education and prevention, birth/death records and water testing.
Attendees are welcome to stay for the County Board of Health meeting at 6 p.m. ET in the community room in the Marshall County Community Resource Center.
