Additional charges are pending against an Argos woman who was arrested Monday by Marshall County Police for receiving stolen property.
Officers were called to investigate a suspicious vehicle in the 100 block of South Michigan Street in LaPaz Monday afternoon. They reportedly found a firearm with the serial number removed inside the vehicle and later determined it had been stolen during a recent burglary in Argos.
Officers arrested 28-year-old Jamie Kay Beam of Argos for possession of stolen property, possession of a firearm with obliterated serial number and resisting law enforcement.
The incident report indicates the Argos burglary was solved after further investigation.
