The replacement of the Apple Road Bridge has drawn interest from four companies. Bids were opened during this week’s Marshall County Commissioners.
LaPorte Construction submitted the lowest one, for just under $275,000. That was significantly lower than the other three, which were all well over $400,000. The commissioners decided to review the bids, before making a selection at their next meeting.
