The Town of Culver may soon be spending nearly $128,000 on a new ambulance. That’s the price Medix Specialty Vehicles of Elkhart gave the town.
While Medix was the only company to submit a bid, the price is actually a bit better than what town officials had anticipated. On Tuesday, the Culver Town Council voted to allow EMS Director Kathy Hart to review the bid to make sure it meets all the town’s specifications, before the council makes a final decision.
