The Marshall County Council will reorganize for the year when they meet today. Former County Treasurer Penny Lukenbill was elected to an at-large council seat in November, while incumbents John VanVactor and Jim Masterson were reelected.
Today’s council agenda includes a bond renegotiation request from the Culver Public Library and a grant request from Community Corrections Director Ward Byers. Sheriff Matt Hassel and Treasurer Angie Johnson Birchmeier will appear before the council with personnel requests.
