The Marshall County Council took steps to clarify the language in a couple of recently-granted tax abatements. Faulkner Fabricating and Homestead Dairy had abatement requests approved in the past few months.
The council amended them Monday to specify that they were granted for both real and personal property on a ten-year sliding scale.
