The Marshall County Council will consider changes to a couple recently-granted tax abatements this morning. Faulkner Fabricating and Homestead Dairy have had abatement request approved in the past few months. Amendments to those abatements will be considered, during today’s county council meeting.
In other business, council members will consider Sheriff Matt Hassel’s 2017 salary contract. It calls for the sheriff to receive $85,506 next year and was approved by the county commissioners last month. The county council will also decide whether to reappoint Mark Wickizer to the Marshall County Board of Zoning Appeals.
Today’s Marshall County Council meeting starts at 9 a.m. at the Marshall County Building.
