In-Person Absentee Voting Begins Today

vote-3Starting today, registered voters can cast in-person absentee ballots at the Marshall County Clerk’s Office in advance of the Nov. 8 General Election.

The office at 211 W. Madison St. in Plymouth is open weekdays from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. In-person absentee voting at the clerk’s office will also be offered Saturdays Oct. 29 and Nov. 5 from 8 a.m. until 3 p.m. The deadline to vote absentee in the clerk’s office is Monday, Nov. 7 at noon.

Satellite absentee locations will also be offered at the Bremen and Culver Town Halls on Saturdays, Oct. 29 and Nov. 5 from 8 a.m. until 3 p.m.

Additionally, voters with disabilities, confined voters or a voter who is caring for a confined person may vote absentee via travel board starting Thursday, Oct. 20. Monday, Nov. 6 is also the cutoff for voting via travel board.

Absentee ballots may also be cast by mail if  certain conditions apply. They must be requested from the Marshall County Clerk’s Office by Monday, Oct. 31 and returned by Monday, Nov. 7.

Also, registered voters who are in the military or overseas have until Monday, Nov. 7 at noon to return a completed ballot via fax or email.

If you prefer to vote on Election Day, polls will be open from 6 a.m. until 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 8.
