The Monterey School Building’s next owner may be revealed during this evening’s Culver School Board meeting. Potential buyers had the chance to bid on the property during a two-week auction period. While the school board will likely sell the building to the highest bidder, board members do have the option to reject bids as they see fit.
Meanwhile, a search for a new superintendent is also on tonight’s agenda. Board members plan to hear a presentation from a representative of the Indiana School Boards Association about its search services. In other business, the school board will consider the adoption of the corporation’s 2017 budget, and Culver Schools’ 2017-2018 school calendar will be discussed.
Tonight’s school board meeting starts at 7:00 p.m. EDT at the Culver School Administration Building.
