Student’s Death Prompts Plymouth to Reschedule Homecoming

Plymouth School CorporationHomecoming activities at Plymouth High School have been rescheduled due to the recent death of a student-athlete. Funeral services are this evening for sophomore Rylan Clark. His body was found Friday in a wooded area east of Plymouth by school resource officer Ted Brown.

Clark’s funeral is this evening at 7 at Plymouth Wesleyan Church, with visitation there from 3 p.m. until the time of the service. All after-school activities involving both Plymouth High School and the Weidner School of Inquiry have been canceled or rescheduled so students and staff can attend.

Additionally, the Plymouth High School class officers voted unanimously to reschedule homecoming festivities from this Friday to Friday, Oct. 14. Plymouth will host Northwood that night, with kickoff at 7 p.m.
