Friends and family members gathered last night at Plymouth’s Oak Hill Cemetery to remember a Plymouth toddler who was killed a year ago. Police say 2-year-old Serenity Wilson was beaten to death by her mother’s boyfriend, Shane Weeding, after wetting the bed. He pleaded guilty to murder last week and faces up to 65 years in prison. Serenity’s mother, Kristi Lavanway, is serving a 35-year sentence for neglect of a dependent resulting in death.
