The Culver School Board will continue formalizing some of the plans for the sale of the Monterey School Building, when it meets this evening. Last month, board members decided to accept bids for the property, thought to be worth about $54,500.
Tonight, they’ll consider a resolution detailing that process, as well as a resolution to sell the former school’s cafeteria equipment. The Knox Community School Corporation has expressed interest in buying some of the equipment to help start a culinary program, according to Culver Schools Interim Superintendent Chuck Kitchell.
In other business, the school board will consider the 2016-2017 Collective Bargaining Agreement. The school principals’ process for evaluating staff will also be discussed. Additionally, the school board will get its final report on the 2016 Summer Food Service Program.
Tonight’s meeting starts at 7:00 p.m. EDT at the Culver School Administration Building.
