The Culver Town Council will be completing plans for annexed land just outside the community.
During Tuesday night’s meeting, the Town Council will consider an ordinance establishing a fiscal plan to bring utilities to the 13 acres in Union Township. It’s located in the 500 block of West Jefferson Street. To properly bring utilities to the area, the owner petitioned the Town to annex the land. It’s expected to cost the Town about $200-thousand for a possible future development.
To complete the annexation and bring utilities to the site, Culver is required by the state to develop a fiscal plan to pay for the work.
Culver is also expected to hear from John Fulkerson with the HAMSTRA Group. They’ve been working to update the interior of the CVS Pharmacy location in Culver.
Tonight’s meeting begins at 6:30 p.m. at Culver Town Hall.
