A single-vehicle crash on a northern Alabama interstate has claimed the life of a recent Marshall County pageant queen. A passerby reported wreck on I-565 West in Madison to 911 dispatchers around 8:30 a.m. Sunday, according to WHINT-TV.

The Madison County Coroner’s office has identified the driver as 21-year-old Breanna Lemler of Bourbon. She was crowned Miss Blueberry 2014 and was residing in Decatur, Ala. for an internship at the time of her death.

Investigators say her westbound car went down an embankment and struck a tree. Lemler died of blunt force trauma, according to “The Huntsville Times.” There’s no information as to the cause of the crash, which shut the highway down for two hours Sunday morning.

A statement on the Marshall County Blueberry Festival Facebook page reads, “The Marshall County Blueberry Festival board and volunteers express our dearest condolences to our 2014 Miss Blueberry Queen, Breanna Lemler’s family and friends. Such a tragedy to have happened to such a beautiful young lady. Rest in peace Breanna. You’re in our prayers and forever in our hearts.”
