Improvements at Plymouth’s Wastewater Treatment Plant will be discussed during this evening’s Board of Works meeting. Quotes will be opened for the installation of a concrete floor, and the board will decide whether to ratify the award of quotes for the replacement of roofs at the plant.
During this evening’s meeting, quotes will also be opened for the demolition of structures at 805 and 809 West Harrison Street. Plymouth Utility Superintendent Donnie Davidson is expected to discuss a watershed study of the city’s east side. A plan was previously presented in March about ways to reduce flooding in the area around Candy Lane.
The Indiana Department of Transportation’s Community Crossings program will also be discussed this evening. It provides matching grant funding for road projects, requiring local governments to contribute their share out of their Rainy Day Funds, wheel tax revenues, or funds recently disbursed to them out the state’s Local Option Income Tax Fund.
Tonight’s Plymouth Board of Works meeting begins at 6:00 p.m., followed by the Plymouth Common Council meeting at 6:30.
