A fundraiser supporting the Culver Community Schools Corporation’s marketing efforts continues today. The “Dine Out for Culver Schools” campaign aims to raise money to help pay for banners, signs, and other marketing materials with the corporation’s new logos, as well as updates to the corporation’s website.
The branding effort is seen as a way for Culver Schools to control its image and potentially attract more families, at a time when per-student funding from the state has dropped. Rather than using money from the corporation’s budget, the branding effort’s been funded mainly through donations and fundraisers.
As part of “Dine Out for Culver Schools,” residents are invited to eat at various local restaurants on certain days, with 20-percent of the money spent going to Culver Schools’ marketing efforts. The corporation’s marketing team says that since the campaign started earlier this month, it’s raised over $350.
Local residents can take part in the fundraiser today by eating at Cafe Max or Mystic Hills Golf Club. For more information, see the coupon below.
