Riverside Intermediate School has a new assistant principal. The Plymouth School Board Tuesday approved the promotion of Ryan Welch to the position.
Riverside Principal Jeni Hirschy told the school board that Welch is a graduate of Plymouth High School and has been teaching at Riverside for three years. Welch said he’s very excited to serve the community in a new capacity and to further his career, as an assistant principal.
In other personnel matters, the school board accepted the retirement of Riverside teacher Patty Welch. Board members thanked her for her years of service to the corporation.
