The Culver School Board will get an update tonight on how much it would cost to move the corporation’s administrative offices out of their current stand-alone building. It’s been estimated that the corporation could save $50,000 a year by moving the offices into the Middle/High School. However, there would be some initial costs to move some of the technology. Preliminary estimates have placed that at $30,000, but more details are expected tonight.
Also during tonight’s meeting, a newly-required policy on criminal gang activity will be presented. School superintendents from around Marshall County have been working together with local police departments and County Prosecutor Nelson Chipman to develop the policy.
Tonight’s meeting starts at 7:00 p.m. at the Culver School Administration Building.
