National Day of Prayer is being celebrated next week in Plymouth. Mayor Mark Senter will once again host a Mayor’s Prayer Breakfast on Thursday, May 5 at 6:30 a.m. at Christo’s Banquet Center.
The mayor says the featured speaker this year will be Rev. Ollie Dongell, senior pastor of Plymouth Wesleyan Church. Tickets will be available at the door or by calling the City of Plymouth at 574-936-2124. Proceeds from the breakfast will benefit local Boy Scouts of America Troops and Packs.
This is the 65th year the National Day of Prayer is being recognized. The theme this year is “Wake Up America.” More information can be found at NationalDayOfPrayer.org.
