A candidate for state office in Marshall County has received the endorsement of a “Pro-Family” organization’s Political Action Committee.
The American Family Association’s Indiana PAC announced Tuesday they are recommending Republican Jesse Bohannon for Indiana’s 17th District State House Seat. The endorsement comes weeks before Indiana’s May 3rd primary election.
In a press release, the A.F.A. PAC compared Bohannon to current State Representative Tim Harmon for his conservative social and fiscal stances. Harmon is not seeking another term in the 17th District seat this cycle.
The A.F.A. PAC was formed in 2006 to help educate voters about candidates that embrace their concept of “traditional values, and issues that impact families, churches, and communities.” President Micah Clark says he was impressed with Bohannon’s business, education, and non-profit background.
If Bohannon continues past the primary, he will square off against Democratic candidate Michelle Livinghouse in November’s General Election.
