Junior Achievement Finalizes Plans for Achieve-A-Bowl

news-3Marshall County residents can help give local students the chance to learn the basics of economics, by taking part in a bowling event. Junior Achievement’s 2016 Achieve-A-Bowl will be held next month in Plymouth.

The annual fundraiser helps the nonprofit organization provide economic education to more than 2,700 students in Marshall County. Local business and community leaders volunteer to help educators teach local youth the basics of economics, workforce readiness, and personal financial management.

The Achieve-A-Bowl will take place Tuesday, April 19 from 6:00 to 8:30 p.m. at Quick’s Lanes in Plymouth. For more information about how you can get involved with this year’s event, contact Renea Salyer at renea.salyer@ja.org or call 574-551-6082.
