A winter storm watch has been issued for the northern portion of Marshall County. It is in effect tonight through tomorrow for areas north of U.S. 6.
Snow accumulations of 2 to 4 inches are possible tonight, with potential for another 2 to 5 inches of lake effect snow tomorrow.
Outside of the watch area 2 to 3 inches of snow are possible tonight. Wind speeds between 20 and 30 miles per hour will cause snow to blow and drift. Roads will become snow-covered, slick and hazardous everywhere.
In addition to the snow, wind chill values of between zero and 15 below are expected through Wednesday morning.
