The Marshall County Council will be meeting for the first time in 2016 this morning.
Council members will consider a request from the Marshall County Treasurer on outsourcing the County’s tax bill preparation services. The County could potentially increase expertise and save on the time the offices spend on document preparation and mailing.
The Council will also consider implementing a vote center concept. The idea was brought up to the Marshall County Commissioners last week seeking their blessing before implementation. The Council will now consider the matter prior to May’s primary election.
Today’s meeting begins at 9:00 a.m. EST at the Marshall County Building.
