The Plymouth School Board will be meeting tonight to tidy up a few things before the end of the fiscal year.
According to the agenda, school board members will consider a resolution to pre-write checks and balance the funds necessary to finish out 2015. The Plymouth School Corporation’s last business day is December 31st. Some payments, however, may not have been processed during that time. The board, on an annual basis, allows its Treasurer to pre-write the checks and provide a report to finalize 2015.
During tonight’s meeting, the Plymouth School Board will also consider signing the JESSE cooperative agreement for 2016. The agreement allows Plymouth to share resources with neighboring school corporations in an effort to save both money and resources.
Tonight’s meeting starts at 7:00 p.m. EST at the Plymouth Administration Building.
