Don’t Drink and Drive this New Year

police-lightsAs you prepare to ring in 2016, include plans to stay safe as you celebrate. Mothers Against Drunk Driving is once again urging everyone to designate a non-drinking driver before celebrations begin.

They also recommend that party hosts offer non-alcoholic beverages and be prepared to organize rides or a place to sleep for guests who have been drinking. MADD has also brought back its Tie One On for Safety campaign for its 29th year, encouraging drivers to display a red ribbon on their vehicles to remind others not to drink and drive.
