A project first identified in March of this year will see a ceremonial grand opening take place Tuesday afternoon.
The Indiana Municipal Power Agency and the Town of Argos will be cutting the ribbon on a recently constructed Solar Park. The park boasts about 3-thousand panels situated 24 inches above the ground – which intends to generate 750 kilowatts of electricity.
IMPA has said in the past that the project generates renewable energy for Indiana communities, but also diversifies their portfolio.
The ribbon cutting ceremony will take place at 2:00 p.m. EDT at the solar park on Linden Road in Argos.
