The Plymouth Board of Works this week accepted the lone bid they got for crack sealing of city streets.
Pavement Solutions, Inc. of Middletown will charge $1.30 per pound for crack sealing of city streets. Hot liquid rubberized asphalt is used to fill moderately sized cracks in the road surface. Doing so lessens the amount of moisture that gets into the road surface and extends the pavement life. Board of works embers accelerated the quote approval in hopes of completing the repairs before winter weather arrives.
