Meteorologists are predicting a bit of precipitation starting tonight that may lead to snow across the area.
As of Friday morning, Accuweather.com is predicting sunny skies throughout most of the day, reaching a high of around 40 degrees. Clouds are expected to move into the area this afternoon leading to a possibility of rain. The precipitation is supposed to turn into a rain/snow mixture late Friday evening.
That combination, however, is only temporary as two to four inches of snowfall is predicted for much of the area through Saturday night.
The snowfall is accompanied by a drop in weekend temperatures with lows on Saturday and Sunday expected to dip into the teens and 20’s.
