Marshall County Council
Marshall County Council

The Marshall County Council will be undergoing a bit of reorganization today.

During their meeting, which starts at 9:00 a.m. EDT at the Marshall County Building, the Council has their official reorganization on the docket. The reorganization is a result of both a change in the Council President’s position.

Recently elected Marshall County Sheriff Matt Hassel will be addressing the Council about a part-time clerical line-item in the fiscal year budget.

Among the major topics of discussion is the work of the County Council’s Personnel Committee – which has been working on job descriptions and revised wage recommendations for certain departments. Those recommendations will be considered by the County Council during today’s meeting.
