Traffic Stop Leads to Meth Arrests

arrestsA Tuesday afternoon traffic stop by Plymouth Police resulted in the arrests of two people on drug charges. The officer stopped a vehicle at the intersection of Oak and Jefferson Streets just after 2 p.m. because he reportedly knew the driver did not have a valid license.

K9 Jax walked around the car and alerted to the presence of narcotics, according to a news release. A search turned up methamphetamine, marijuana and hypodermic needles. Derrick J. Brewer, 29 and 28-year-old Lindsey N. Dennis, both of Plymouth, were arrested on charges of possession of methamphetamine, marijuana and hypodermic needles.
