Officers from the Plymouth Police Department took part in a recent state-funded Operation Pull Over traffic enforcement campaign. The Indiana Criminal Justice Institute provides money to cover their overtime costs. During a two-week period in August and September, six officers volunteered to take part in the program.
They made 19 arrests during that time, including one for operating while intoxicated and 18 for various traffic, equipment and license violations. An additional 85 warnings were issued to motorists for various offenses.
