Marshall County is moving ahead with plans to tax horse-drawn vehicles.
The County Commissioners were presented with a proposed ordinance that would let the county collect license fees on buggies during their meeting Monday.
The Commissioners passed the ordinance on its first reading. They plan to hold a public hearing and additional readings on the proposed tax during their next meeting November 2.
