A Bourbon man was sentenced Thursday on charges that he manufactured methamphetamine at a Plymouth address.
According to information released by the Marshall County Prosecutor’s office, Plymouth Fire and EMS responded to the 700 block of Pearl Street in March of 2011 after a resident heard an explosion.
Firefighters entered the house and located what investigators believed to be a one-pot meth lab. Following their response, radio traffic indicated that a female had been dropped off at the hospital’s Emergency Room with severe burns, but the car had sped away.
The individual at the house denied involvement leading to an investigation. Detectives were able to identify 33-year-old Glenn Linderman as a second individual at the scene. They found him on Olive Trail suffering burns to his skin. At the time, there was insufficient evidence to file charges against Linderman.
Officers said they collected statements, including from the female dropped-off at the emergency room. Subsequent investigation resulted in Linderman’s charges of Dealing in Methamphetamine, Aggravated Battery, and Arson.
Linderman pleaded guilty as part of a plea agreement with the Marshall County Prosecutor’s office. He was sentenced to 10 years at the Indiana Department of Corrections, two of which are suspended.
