Take a night off from cooking and support a good cause by visiting one of 24 restaurants taking part in this year’s Dine Out for United Way fundraiser.
Each has pledged a portion of their sales on designated days to the nonprofit organization. Visit Bob Evans all weekend and Mooney’s Ice Cream each Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday. Other participants include Wings Etc. starting Monday and continuing through Halloween and Pizza Hut in Plymouth on Thursday, Oct. 29. Coupons for participating restaurants can be found online at www.marshallcountyuw.org . Program organizers Tom Blackburn and Kathryn DeJarnett from Ponderosa ask diners to take the coupons along when they visit the restaurants as a show of support for United Way and to post photos with a United Way sign, t-shirt or restaurant staff on the United Way of Marshall County – Indiana Facebook page.
The agency continues to support local health and human services nonprofit organizations across Marshall County that benefit residents of all ages.
