INDOT will shut down part of U.S. 31 for the next few days, weather permitting. The closures are necessary to repair and replace sensors in the roadway between State Road 10 and 19th Road.
Tomorrow the southbound left lane will be closed between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m., and the southbound right lane will be closed between 1 and 5 p.m.
On Thursday the northbound left lane will be closed between the hours of 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. Motorists are reminded to slow down and be alert for shifting traffic patterns.
