State Road 331 will experience road work starting on Monday.
The Indiana Department of Transportation says the slowdown will occur between U.S. 30 and State Road 10 near Bourbon for repaving work.
The work doesn’t stop there, however, as State Road 331 will be completely closed between E. Jackson Street and Lincoln Highway in Bourbon on August 24th. Construction crews will be completing work to a railroad crossing.
Repaving the roadway will last into November according to INDOT. The railroad crossing improvements are expected to last into September.
There is a detour planned as southbound traffic will be moved East on U.S. 30, South on State Road 19, and West on State Road 10 before joining back with State Road 331. Northbound traffic will take the rout backwards.
INDOT says traffic conditions can be monitored on their website.
