Plymouth Schools Consider Bond Issue for Facility Upgrades

Plymouth school facilities could soon be getting a facelift.

A proposal to bond $1.9-million will be considered by the Plymouth School Board during their meeting, tonight. Those monies, if approved, would be used to provide new bleachers and a press box at the football fields, and restroom and concession stand improvements.

Square footage would also be added to the Plymouth School Corporation Administration Building under the plan. Upgrades to office space and the addition of a board room are included.

A north end ticket box was cited as an optional project, costing only $25-thousand to complete.

Tonight’s meeting begins at 7:00 p.m. A budget work session will immediately following the regularly scheduled meeting.
