Funeral arrangements for Marshall County Sheriff Tom Chamberlin have been finalized He died at his Plymouth home just after 9:30 Friday night surrounded by his family. Chamberlin has been fighting a battle with cancer and opted a few weeks ago to discontinue chemotherapy. Chamberlin dedicated his life to law enforcement. He served with the Argos and Plymouth Police Departments for over 25 years and held positions of patrolman, investigator, sergeant and chief. Chamberlin’s service to Marshall County continued as county commissioner and sheriff, where he died in office and will be accorded full honors. A public visitation will take place Wednesday, Sept. 2 from 1 until 8 p.m. at Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home in Plymouth.
Open services will take place Thursday, Sept. 3rd at 11 a.m. at Plymouth Wesleyan Church. A funeral procession will also take place Thursday morning at 9:15 a.m. and will travel through downtown Plymouth.
In lieu of flowers, please bring nonperishable food items or monetary donations for the Bread of Life Food Pantry to the service. Memorials may also be made to the Center for Hospice Care in Plymouth.
